Time Machine
03:48
|
|||
Time Machine
Take me back to the night
When it all slid into place
First time that I got a taste of paradise
Take me back to the days
That haunt me everywhere
When regret, sorrow and fear were far from mind
Time Machine
I want a Time Machine
Built out of souvenirs
And broken hearts
Pull me back from the edge
From staring into the depths
Where the dark mirror reflects the universe
Take me back to the start
Relive how it began
Before we parted and ran our different ways
Time Machine
I want a Time Machine
Built out of souvenirs
And broken hearts
Time Machine
I need a Time Machine
To go retrieve the things
That I have lost
Take me back in time
Take me back to the night
When it all slid into place
First time that I got to taste of paradise
Time Machine
I’ll build a Time Machine
From all our souvenirs
And broken hearts

Every Lie
03:42
|
|||
Every Lie
Look who’s come to spout his lies
And craves your full attention
A jealous demagogue
Whose scapegoats always get a mention
Acolytes believing
Any crap that he can feed them
Every lie
Claiming god’s authority
Suing fact as libel
Denying all the evidence
While swearing on the Bible
Acolytes believing
Any trash that he can spiel them
Every lie
Every Lie, Every Lie
Deny the truth – believe in every lie
Every lie, Every Lie
Deny the truth - believe in every lie
Stupid Nazi thugs hang out with
Tweedy Brexit gammon
Blonde Blimps mainline hatred
To the storm troopers of mammon
Acolytes believing
Any crap that they can feed them
Every lie
From sink estate to village green
To inner city boozer
Xenophobes are rising
Words and actions getting bolder
Acolytes believing
All the crap that has been spieled them
Every lie
Every lie, Every lie
Deny the truth – believe in every lie
Every lie, Every lie
Deny the truth and repeat every lie

Get Clear
03:37
|
|||
Get Clear
Don’t look down
Now that you’re flying away
Slip that crowd
And try to forget what they say
It cannot be wrong
To shake off the dust of a place
So wrong. So long
Now you are rising
And spreading your wings into space
Don’t be scared
It’s perfect that you get away
Never fear
Be glad that you didn’t delay
Those folk planned
To keep you tied into their lies
You cut and you ran
No more daydreaming
Now you are leaving
It’s easy to see that
They were a waste of your time
Don’t look back
You’ll turn to a pillar of brine
Straight ahead
Pay no regard to their whining
When they tried
To audit you into their schemes
Something snapped
Now you are free
You see they were never your kind
